This popular family fun holiday attraction at the Kern County Museum (inside Pioneer Village) features Jolly Hayrides behind a stunning Christmas theme backdrop, ice-skating rink, sledding hill, displays, Santa photos for the kids, reindeers and awesome Christmas lights show.  Tickets: http://www.christmastown.net/

2. Calm Holidays Lights in Bakersfield 2018

This year, the Bakersfield Museum (CALM) will be lit with more than three million holiday lights and more than 75 displays. The Calm Christmas lights was voted Best Annual Event in The Bakersfield Californian’s Reader’s Poll this year - so you don't want to miss this! Calm will be adding new light displays this year along with kid friendly attractions such as free train Candy Cane rides and free carousel rides. Children under 3 are free, and of course photo op with Santa.
